Open Letter to the "Timid Ten" Labour MP's

"Dear ______ As someone who has protested against the Bedroom Tax since Day one, I was extremely disappointed and dismayed at your decision not to vote against this hideous and ideological attack on the poor in the Opposition Day Motion. I would be grateful if you could tell me your reasons as to why you did not show up to vote and if this reason is due to the pairing system I would like to know which MP you were paired with, and where you were when the vote was taken. I must inform you that if an answer is not forthcoming by e-mail or letter, I will attend your office in person. You may be aware I attended at the office of your colleague, Mr Sarwar, last Friday and will continue to do the same to all your colleagues in Scottish Labour who refused to vote. Yours,
Liam McLaughlan"

The betrayal by the Labour party on an issue which they claim to finally have decided to oppose of Tory welfare cuts will not be forgotten or forgiven. I, and the anti- Bedroom Tax campaign as a whole will continue to pile on the pressure like we have done with Mr Sarwar who still refuses to answer these basic questions. We can't afford to wait till 2015 or 2016, the Bedroom Tax needs scrapped NOW.
